The Vipertek CT Gravity bipod is ultra-light but also sturdy in the necessary areas where strength is needed. Some parts of the bipod such as the QD lever have been scalloped out to reduce the weight as much as possible. This won't affect durability or function, but it does require more time in the machining process to do. The CT Gravity bipod is able to tilt but to keep the weight down the pan function you get on the CT1 is not present. The tilt function can be resisted or locked off in any position with the lock leaver. The legs are extendable to achieve a height of 7 inches to 10 inches and can be positioned in any 5 positions, this also allows the feet to be further forward in relation to the mounting position.
The 5 leg positions are locked in with zero play giving you a positive solid feel, this is achieved by having a taper lock design allowing wear and tear to continue without wearing out and becoming sloppy. The quick detachable picatinny attachment is easy to use and can be adjusted on the fly without tools, this allows the shooter to have a rigid connection to the rifle at all times.
The feet are interchangeable from rubber to steel spikes (spiked feet not included) depending on the shooters needs. Legs made of extremely strong high quality carbon fibre.
